BMB - Bachata/Merengue Basics
(prerequisite: none)

Along with Salsa/Mambo, Bachata and Merengue are firmly established in the Toronto Latin Dance scene, not to mention the international Latin Dance scene. Knowing how to maneuver on the dance floor to these Dominican rhythms is an absolute must! This course introduces students to the rhythm and partnering fundamentals for these dance floor staples. Instruction includes characteristic footwork and hip movement, partnering technique and music recognition. Don't miss out!

BCHTL2 - Bachata Level 2
(prerequisite: Bachata/Merengue Basics or assessment)

This course builds on the basics learned in the Bachata/Merengue Basics course and further explores Sonero Productions' proprietary partnering technique while learning new Bachata partnering elements and combinations. The core elements learned in BMB are used in combination with the new partnering elements.

BCHTL3 - Bachata Level 3
(prerequisite: Bachata Level 2 or assessment)

This course will use the partnering technique learned in BMB and BCHTL2 to explore more challenging partnering combinations. The core elements learned in BMB and BCHTL2 are used in combination with the new partnering elements.
